Aishwarya marked her 15th year at the Cannes Film Festival with a golden Ali Younes Couture gown. With a small train in her heavily embellished skirt, she looked every inch of a superstar. She made her waist look slim by opting for a style that accentuated her hip. She upped her ante with a chic diamond necklace and left her hair in loose curls.

Sarabjit actress stole the show with a pretty off-shoulder Rami Kadi floral gown. But what grabbed the attention of the shutterbugs was her controversial makeup. To be more precise, her luscious purple lips! Well, the debate is still on and Twitter is flooded with hilarious one-liners to which the 42-year old actress has responded that one day she might walk in a white shirt and blue jeans on the red carpet! We hope not!

P.S.- Turn up the heat with red, golden and purple lip colors this summer!

While Aishwarya Rai is known for her classic style (Not anymore!), Sonam Kapoor is known for her eccentric fashion sense. Looks like White is the new black for Sonam Kapoor’s evening looks.  She looked stunning in her white sari-inspired gown by British couturier Ralph & Russo. She teamed up her attire with Ferragamo shoes and floral diamond necklace, not to miss the bling on her fingers and the subtle makeup in hues of pink.

The lady who sports saris with such élan chose to go stylish with a blue and black sari, this time again. Bright pink fuschia lips and floral silver earrings along with neatly-tied bun complemented her ensemble.
