Mother’s Day Contest

As I look back on my life
I find myself wondering…
Did I remember to thank you
For all that you have done for me?
For all of the times you were by my side
To help me celebrate my successes and accept my defeats?
I wonder if I’ve ever thanked you for the simple things…
The laughter, smiles, and quiet times we’ve shared?
If I have forgotten to express my gratitude
For any of these things,
I am thanking you now…
and I am hoping that you’ve known all along.

  1. your words and touch were medicine
when I got hurt from menacing
Your hand made food was healing
when I was left with a numb feeling
    you were always my refuge
when daddy’s anger became too huge
you were the only one I could trust
when what the whole world gave was mistrust
I never believed in God and Angels
when the world dint give enough bagels
But when I look into your eyes
I can see the love and care that standbyes
coz mom ur my God and Angel
coz mom ur my God and Angel
I love you too mom.. :))

  2. One thing that I love about my Mother is that she has always been supportive of us. Even when I know in her heart she didn’t agree with us, she would try her best to be positive and still support us in our decisions. Now, being a mom myself, I see at times, how hard being supportive and keeping negative comments to yourself.

  3. I do that in many different ways … by giving her small thins through the year and doing whatever she wants … most of the time when she wants … to leaving her be when she ask … or just being her sounding board when she needs to vent
