[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="2000"]"I have been fascinated by the beauty and artistry of Kalamkari for years now. I work with hand loom and hands spun, especially khadi fabrics and have been using Kalamkari craft for a lot of my creations. Kalamkari is the art of using pen and natural dyes on fabric and is also available as block prints. I have incorporated the Srikalahasthi style of Kalamkari on one of my sarees. The Kalamkari craft has a legacy attached to it and can be dated back to centuries as the motifs are taken from mythology and epics. Other than the typical flowers, there are peacocks and birds and figures too and look splendid when you drape it."

Do keep in mind the following when opting for Kalamkaris-
1. Avoid large prints if you are a petite person.
2. For skirts and western dresses, patchwork Kalamkari works really well and can suit any body type.
3.Pair a basic tank top with a long Kalamkari skirt and the intricately designer earrings from Studio Voylla's Kalamkari collection and watch the magic!
I am absolutely in love with the Kalamkari collection from Studio Voylla. The colours and motifs work really well especially if you team it up with any Kalamkari outfit or saree.
